Furry Family

My sister just edited a recent picture of my Aunt Robin and her son Nathan feeding the beloved pet buffalo Fiona her apple for the day.
Fiona was born as a twin to her mama buffalo several years ago (I can't remember how old she is now). After birthing the twin baby's the mama buffalo died. The owner of the mama buffalo was a friend of my aunt and knew that she had the wide open space to home such a potentially large animal and offered to sell one of the babies to her. Of course Robin accepted and brought home the little Fiona. She had to be bottle fed of course, so Robin fed her however many times a day from a giant bottle until she got to big. Then Robin had to feed her through a gate so she wouldn't knock her over while feeding. Today this is what Fiona looks like:
Isn't she lovely? Kinda intimidating but very sweet, and she loves her apples.
So pretty to see her out there with her Shetland pony friend Annie.
She truly gives the "funny farm" it's name. We love her for it.

Happy Wednesday!
